Fotovoltaica
The Strategic Research Group on Solar Energy (Fotovoltaica) at UFSC develops studies in the various application areas of solar energy, with a main focus on photovoltaic systems integrated in buildings and interconnected to the public grid, the so-called Solar Photovoltaic Buildings. The resulting microgrids are an essential element for the sustainability of the Energy Critical Infrastructure, particularly when considering renewable energies. They offer a new perspective for producing, storing, and dispatching energy more efficiently. Unfortunately, the digital systems embedded that control and interconnect these generators are subject to a growing number of cyberattacks.
